From Ms. Shiloh Hart

Owner and Executive Director

From the beginning, my passion has always been musical theater. I graduated from Firestone Akron High School of the Arts in 2011 with a concentration in Visual and Performing Arts. My first performance at Firestone was "Sweeney Todd" where I was lucky enough to be casted as "Tobias." This was such a pivotal part of my life because the way that performance impacted me felt tangible — I felt like more of myself through exploring and acting out other characters.

Even before Firestone I had performed in over 300 musical theater performances throughout Northeast Ohio. Professional/equity and community work. At this point, it felt like it was in my nature.

I play 15 instruments and have competed in multiple competitions over the years. I won first place in tenor/alto saxophone, clarinet, oboe, tuba, piano and voice.

In 2014 I took a turn in the music industry and gave a try at songwriting. I was so excited to be signed to my first production company, Jason Wyatts Production in Nashville, at 21 years old.

I traveled back and forth to perform on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee, while also writing and co-producing with musical artists. I wrote "All Over You" with Grammy nominated Jan Buckingham and worked alongside Jeff Roach, an incredible writer and pianist.

I spent the last 3 years signed to Cmore5 Production Company writing, composing, producing and creating vocal structures in studio work. I worked among Sony records and recorded “One Hell of a Kiss”.

It has been so inspiring and exhilarating to create my own life doing what I love and I think of it as my mission to help others discover this for themselves too.

The mission of Hart’s School of Performing Arts is to educate the youth to explore their interests and passions in a world that tells them to be ordinary. Here, we dare to be unapologetic in our pursuit of performance.
